Our Story
Friends of English Dance was born out of a desire to actively promote and support the art of English country dance. We recognised the need to unite enthusiasts, both seasoned dancers and newcomers, to ensure the longevity and vitality of this beloved dance form. With a rich history steeped in tradition, English country dance has the power to bring people together, transcending generations and creating lasting memories.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a central hub where dancers, callers, organisers, and musicians can access valuable resources, find events, and connect with like-minded individuals who share their passion for English country dance.
