Sunday 27th April is an important milestone in the history of the Club. We will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary at Steventon Village Hall At 2.00pm. The event will centre around the dances that were popular in each of the five decades of the Club. It is particularly poignant because, until the move to a different format, at Steventon and to Fridays, the Club nearly went out of existence. Please come and celebrate with us. Music will be by Stradivarious and Malcom Bright and Diana Triplow have scoured our Club archives to come up with what we hope will be an interesting and nostalgic programme. In addition to the normal “bring and share tea” there will be a celebration cake and a toast to the next 50 years! There will also be a display of photographs of the Club down the decades. We had hoped to celebrate 45years of existence but Covid put a stop to that, so we are determined to mark the 50th.We will be inviting old members and some of the original members will be there. If you know of any lapsed members that you could invite, please do so.
